Minimum Qualifications:
-Deep understanding of payments regulatory compliance laws, including skillfully interpreting and applying legal concepts in ambiguous situations.
-Proven ability to lead complex legal matters, exhibiting a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
-Strong grasp of both business and legal implications, coupled with a well-attuned understanding of risk.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with payment product compliance advisory and review, including risks and regulations for consumer financial services.
-Essential experience with US and Canadian money transmission, remittance, stored value, and prepaid access laws and payment network rules.
-Ability to interpret regulations and simplify complex information into understandable communications.
-Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, including engaging with leadership, external partners, and regulators.
-A proactive, pragmatic self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of managing heavy workloads.
-Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements with payment and financial service providers.
-Global or regional experience gained in the fintech startup space or creator economy industry.

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $170667 - $319200 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
