    Position summary

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure privacy commitments and practices are being effectively communicated and implemented across the company.
    • Maintain an understanding and awareness of relevant privacy laws and regulations, as well as industry best practices and developments.
    • Distill company-wide requirements and priorities to drive execution across multiple cross-functional teams.
    • Participate in internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with privacy commitments, laws, and regulations.
    • Review and improve program/product controls in partnership with Legal and Product.
    • Collaborate on the implementation and maintenance of privacy policies and guidelines, ensuring they are up to date and effective.
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders to promote privacy compliance and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
    • Establish, improve, and promote both process and technical systems needed to meet ongoing goals.
    • Develop and deliver privacy compliance training and awareness programs to employees across the organization.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years in compliance, auditing, consulting, technical program management or industry equivalent work experience.
    • 2+ years of experience in privacy compliance with a proven track record of managing compliance programs and initiatives.
    • Experience working with Privacy Control Frameworks.
    • Experience working in privacy regulations/legislations at an internal/external auditing capacity.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
    • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Sound knowledge of privacy laws, regulations and industry best practices, including GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and HIPAA.
    • Proven track record of delivering ambitious programs/organizational change in a compliance or privacy field.
    • Relevant certifications in privacy and data protection (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, OSCP) are a plus.

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118800 - $269800 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

    Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
