Responsibilities:
-Provide legal guidance to product teams on the application of relevant laws and regulations to a regulated content platform
-Review and advise on new products, features, and initiatives, offering risk mitigation strategies across TikTok and associated consumer apps
-Draft and update online terms related to product initiatives, collaborating with operations teams to align policies and processes with those terms
-Work closely with legal counterparts globally to deliver practical legal guidance, risk assessments, and external communications advice across areas including employment, privacy, payments, marketing, communications, and online safety
-Act as a senior legal advisor and strategic partner to the Creator Network product team
-Track and interpret emerging legislation impacting content platforms, providing timely insights and training to relevant stakeholders
-Navigate complex legal, operational, and business challenges in a fast-paced environment, delivering actionable advice under tight timelines
-Communicate clearly and effectively, translating complex legal concepts for business stakeholders and coordinating with internal legal and cross-functional teams

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $202350 - $357390 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
