    Position summary

    • Establish and oversee fact-checker quality standards, performance metrics, and continuous improvement mechanisms to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability across markets.
    • Manage fact-checking capacity and budget, optimizing cost efficiency while maintaining high quality, coverage, and responsiveness globally.
    • Leverage AI-driven detection models and ML-powered moderation systems in combination with human fact-checking to reduce misinformation, minimize both leakage and over-enforcement, and strengthen user trust.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager (or a strong demonstrated ability to rapidly develop PM expertise through ownership and execution).
    • Strong logical reasoning and critical thinking skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive clear solutions.
    • Evidence-based and data-driven; comfortable using metrics and analysis to identify problems, uncover opportunities, and drive continuous product improvement.
    • Strong communicator who can clearly articulate product vision, planning and execution challenges, and lead deep cross-functional collaboration to co-solve complex problems.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in Trust & Safety, Integrity, or managing fact-checking programs at scale.
    • Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning systems, particularly as applied to content moderation or risk detection.

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $149040 - $311600 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

    Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
