Sitting in the Product Strategy & Operations organisation, this role will lead our capable team of Product Marketing Managers to land the right solutions in our market to grow revenue and also ensure to bring market insights to our product teams. he role involves close collaboration with both in-market sales and global product teams in a high growth environment. Abilities to self-motivate, prioritise projects and influence cross functional partners are key skills. Ideal candidate should have experience leading and developing a team, seeing through projects and working with digital advertising products. This is a full-time position based in Japan.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Product Marketing Managers across our brand and performance solutions in Japan and Korea
- Build the communication bridge between in-market and global teams, and lead cross-functional collaboration for product planning and launch with Sales leadership, Product Management, Marketing Science etc
- Develop and support team through setting priorities, unblocking issues, continual feedback and career development
- Define and execute the short term and long term product strategy for TikTok advertising solution in Japan and Korea including product positioning, value propositions, areas of growth and future investment potential for market
- Develop and execute market programs, initiatives and sales enablement activities to increase adoption of key products and solutions
- Analyze, evaluate and synthesize market opportunities, in-market feedback and customer problems to influence product strategy and roadmaps
- Willing to roll up sleeves and be willing to step in and guide the market teams where needed.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in digital advertising or relevant experience with a strong focus on performance/direct response marketing and app marketing with experience positioning product and building product strategy in market.
- Good understanding of Japanese and/or Korea advertising and business landscape
- Experience leading a team and as a people manager with strong leadership skills, whether with direct team or indirectly with cross-functional teams
- Ability to motivate team and drive outcomes, unblocking issues where needed
- Track record of influencing cross-functional teams and collaborating closely across teams
- Ability to set priorities, problem solve, and multi-task
- Flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, environment
- A commercial and data-driven mindset, with ability to use data in storytelling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Japanese and/or Korean
- Bachelor's degree or above
