    Position summary

    ng for entrepreneurial spirits to join our Monetization Strategy team. You will have a ground floor opportunity to shape monetization efforts for TikTok. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future.

    The Monetization Strategy & Operations organization provides business-critical insights using analysis and financial modeling, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify long-term monetization opportunities and trends in digital advertising
    • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to develop monetization strategies for all major ad products, including ad creatives, ad measurement, and all major branding and performance product lines
    • Analyze internal and external factors that impact monetization, such as market trends, competitive landscape, to inform strategic decision-making
    • Monitor revenue performance and make recommendations for adjustments or improvements to drive revenue growth
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute on monetization strategies and achieve revenue targets
    • Provide thought leadership on industry trends and emerging monetization opportunities in digital advertising

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, engineering, or a related field
    • Several years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or tech corporate strategy
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in market analysis and financial modeling
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines
    • Passion for digital advertising and social media monetization

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156000 - $288000 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
