    Position summary

    ion engineering team is responsible for building the next-generation TT4B recommendation system to provide any individual advertiser fully customized recommendations around all operationalable ads management with quantitative adoption estimate and self-serviceable or automated actions to adopt them. These recommendations will be highly visible to advertisers everywhere on suites of TT4B products such as Ads Manager, Business Suite, Business Account, TT4B Marketing Website. The team owns every component E2E across recommendation population and expansion, recommendation vending, recommendation performance and rendering. TT4B recommendation engineering team innovate through the latest AI technology, highly distributed systems and industrial leading frontend technologies.

    We are looking for engineers and tech leads who will work with us to create the history of the most powerful and highly-impactful TT4B recommendation systems. You will have the opportunity to learn TT4B core ads infra and various ads domain knowledge such as creatives, measurement, budget management, campaign creation flow and so on. You will directly work with great business partners like you to influence product roadmap and customer satisfaction as well as our revenue growth. You will work with a super strong technical community including various domain gurus and experts to drive architectural and product excellence.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a focused engineering team to design and implement TT4B recommendation new features.
    • Propose and drive the overall TT4B recommendation roadmap and product excellence.
    • Develop, deploy, optimize, troubleshoot and operate TT4B E2E systems.
    • Work with attribution and data engineering teams to monitor and improve our TT4B recommendation performance.
    • Work with leaders/leadership and TT4B sister teams to evangelize TT4B recommendations framework and synergize recommendation system and TT4B E2E ads solution.
    • Partner with dedicated PMs to refine, review and drive TT4B recommendations' requirement iterations.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline
    • Hands-on full stack (backend and frontend) coding experience.
    • Proven experience of leading team members.
    • Proven experience of driving cross-team collaborations at scale.
    • Excellent architecture experience of highly-scale and low-latency system design.
    • 5+ years of experience in software engineering. Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design) and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency and experience with designing, implementing and operating large scale distributed systems
    • Very strong teamwork skills (e.g. communication, ownership, empathy, honesty).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Have relevant experience in advertising industry.
    • Have experience in recommendation engines, machine learning, data analysis, domain-driven design and complex infrastructure.

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $184300 - $337250 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

    Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
