- Collect daily user feedback, extract product requirements, discuss solutions with product managers, and follow up on product feature iterations and optimizations.
- Own the full cycle of integrating third-party solutions, including partner selection, negotiation, and contract signing to address product gaps.
- Promote the product among target users, monitor and analyze usage data to improve adoption rates and iteratively enhance user experience.
- Strategic Analysis & Process Improvement:
- Conduct competitive product research, promptly identify competitors' product trends, and share actionable insights with relevant teams.
- Regularly share product operational issues and best practices with the central team, driving the optimization of internal SOPs and processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Artist Promotion (aligned with SoundOn vision):
- Collaborate with account managers and the global music team to provide music promotion strategies, supporting both Japanese artists globally and international artists locally.
- Develop creative concepts for influencer marketing campaigns, analyze key statistics to measure success and ROI, and guide the production of effective strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of combined experience in music distribution operations/ supply chain and digital music promotion, within the content or music industry.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (required for direct communication with artists/rights holders) and proficiency in Mandarin or English.
- In-depth understanding of the Japanese music industry and the digital/social media ecosystem.
- Strong problem-solving ability, technical aptitude, and a passion for music.
- High proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Sheets) and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-regional collaboration skills.
- Proactive, well-organized, and able to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with metadata standards (e.g., DDEX, XML) and third-party CMS (e.g., iTunes Connect, Spotify for Artists).
- Knowledge of 360-degree music marketing across various digital platforms.
- Deep network and understanding of Japanese artists and creators.
- Experience with short video platforms and a keen sensitivity to viral trends.
