Responsibilities
- Coordinate tax compliance and planning processes with outsourcing firms in different countries (i.e. Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, etc).
- Support the implementation of tax compliance routines in new countries in LATAM.
- Respond to internal tax inquiries of moderate complexity, and assist business partners with tax issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and analyze tax judicial and administrative precedents that impact the company's operations and financial positions.
- Provide support for ad hoc tax matters, i.e. product launches.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of related experience in large Multinational Corporations and/or a Big 4 firms with a bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Local tax knowledge and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Hands-on, good ability to thrive in a fast-paced and diversified environment.
- Is a team player, feels comfortable working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tax audits in the region.
- Transfer Pricing experience is a plus.
- Accounting or Law certification.
- Fluency in Spanish and advanced English due to client management in this region.
