    We are looking for an experienced sales or marketing professional to join our Partnerships team as the UKI Strategic Partnership Manager. Our team is often the first to meet, inspire and engage prospecting SMBs. We are at the start of the sales funnel and responsible for generating new high value SMB prospects through strategic partnerships and nurturing them to activation. Our ultimate goal as a team is to empower new businesses and agencies to successfully grow with TikTok. The Strategic Partnership Manager role is to build and maintain a robust and reliable pipeline of new advertisers by acquiring SMBs through strategic partnerships with select SMB communities in their designated market. This is a new role that will require a balance of creative, strategic and ambitious thinking with deep operational know-how to translate big ideas into meaningful results.

    Responsibilities:

    • Devise and maintain a comprehensive and up to date region/market go-to-market new SMB engagement and acquisition strategy with clear goals and executional plan
    • Conduct ongoing external landscape analysis to identify and build a healthy pipeline and overview of high potential SMB partners, pertinent events and forums
    • Establish, own and nurture relationships with high-potential external SMB partners (small business industry associations, government bodies, channel partners etc.) through the partnership lifecycle from contracting to partner program execution and evaluation
    • Develop and drive end-to-end lead engagement and marketing demand generation activities for our partner SMB communities, including planning of programs, events, coordinating deliverables and support from cross-functional partners
    • Collaborate and align closely with Sales, Marketing, PR/Comms, Public Policy and other teams as appropriate to maintain a clear understanding of current SMB pipeline priorities and needs, and to maximize the effect of our external SMB engagement activities and programs
    • Coordinate with Sales and Vendor team colleagues to support progression of leads into sales pipeline and funnel to appropriate engagement track to mitigate churn and nurture activation potential
    • Identify key engagement metrics, monitor acquisition initiatives across lifecycle and regularly evaluate region/market acquisition strategy to develop recommendations for go-forward planning

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5+ years experience in sales, new business acquisition/development or b2b strategic/channel partnerships, ideally within the digital marketing space
    • Strong local market knowledge and understanding of the business landscape in the United Kingdom, including key players, industry trends, regulations, and cultural nuances
    • Experience in managing and developing the upper funnel of the sales cycle from outreach to prospecting leads to acquisition and activation
    • Track record of building impactful, sales-driven partnerships with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders
    • Strong influencing skills and demonstrated results working in highly cross-functional capacity

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and execution skills
    • Ability to translate data into clear narratives, operational strategies and recommendations
    • Experience owning and delivering quantitative targets
    • Proactive self-starter attitude, comfort with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to creatively and effectively fill operational "white space" to drive results
    • Experience prioritising and managing tasks effectively within a fast-paced continuously changing environment while maintaining strict attention to detail
    • A genuine passion for small business, sales and business development
    • Excellent verbal and written English language skills
