Software Engineer Intern (TikTok-Search-Client) - 2026 Summer (BS/MS)

Online Assessment
Candidates who pass resume screening will be invited to participate in TikTok's technical online assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design and product teams to work on frontend development of the Search Content Ecosystem's business.
• Responsible for user experience, R&D efficiency, stability, and providing solutions from a frontend perspective.
• Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high quality work on a tight schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2026.
• Familiar with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong communication and excellent teamwork skills.
• Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear and concise way.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passion about techniques and solving challenging problems.
• Familiar with frontend mainstream frameworks, JS libraries and related ecological tools, such as: React/Vue/AngularJS.
• Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
