    Position summary

TikTok is building out our Solutions Engineering team to help our external clients and partners to thrive on this journey. As a Solutions Engineer, you will not only have the opportunity to identify and solve challenges by architecting and building solutions but, more importantly, prioritize client success and work cross-functionally to help them reach their business objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally. Be an expert on TikTok's Ads capabilities and build trust through your deep technical expertise and customer needs.
    • Collaborate crossfunctionally and globally to identify and capitalize on SMB opportunities through innovative, scalable solutions and best practices.
    • Understand the unique needs of small and medium-sized businesses and influence product roadmap with internal product teams to solve business challenges.
    • Build and ship new products as well as end-to-end solutions in collaboration with Ads product engineering teams.
    • Maintain subject matter expertise on marketing technology and API trends.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Computer Science or related fields.
    • 3+ years of experience shipping production quality code
    • Familiar with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, Go, Java, C/C++.
    • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to collaborate with various sized stakeholder groups internally and externally.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of API and backend systems design.

    Preferred Requirement:

    • Experience in advertising technology working with large volume data analytics.
    • Experience in growing small and medium-sized businesses
    • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and development experience

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $145000 - $250000 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

    Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
