    Team Introduction
    TikTok's SMB team aims to help businesses and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, or perhaps be discovered! From executing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise and sales acumen with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok.

    We are seeking a Strategic Operations Coordinator to support the strategic functions of our Vendor Sales Team. This role will be instrumental in driving efficiency, ensuring seamless operational processes, and contributing to revenue and ROI growth through strategic planning and execution.

    Responsibilities

    1. Operational Support:
    • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the objectives of the advertising sales team.
    • Assist in planning and coordinating daily sales operations, including campaign management, resource allocation, and workflow improvement.
    • Maintain and optimize sales support systems and tools to enhance productivity.
    1. Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Monitor key performance metrics and produce regular reports that provide actionable insights to drive sales performance.
    • Analyze market trends, client data, and sales pipeline to support strategic decision-making.
    • Identify gaps in sales processes and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    1. Collaboration & Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.
    • Facilitate the sharing of best practices and knowledge across the sales organization.
    • Coordinate and prepare materials for sales meetings, training sessions, and strategy reviews.
    1. Process Optimization:
    • Identify and address bottlenecks in sales workflows to streamline operations.
    • Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistency and scalability.
    • Implement CRM and sales tool enhancements in partnership with the IT team to meet evolving needs.
    1. Project Management:
    • Manage special projects and initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of the advertising sales team.
    • Track project progress, ensure deadlines are met, and deliver results that align with organizational goals.
    1. Support for Strategic Initiatives:
    • Contribute to the development of strategic sales plans and initiatives, leveraging market intelligence and sales data.
    • Collaborate with leadership to set and monitor team targets and objectives.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in sales strategy operations, advertising, or a similar role.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in project management and process improvement is a plus.
    • Passion for TikTok marketing, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up.
