    Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

    The Emerging Risks team sits at the forefront of discovering and evaluating new trends and behavior and the potential safety concerns they introduce to our users and platform. The Product Operations role is the crucial centerpiece between product strategy and business requirements. Using the latest techniques, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Policy, Operations and other teams to evaluate growing risks and trends on Livestream. You will manage internal and external escalations and use anaytical prowess and data to identify leading drivers, measure impact, and push for product solutions.

    It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
    Some content viewed may violate our community guidelines which include but are not limited to bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze and investigate emerging risks and trends on Livestream, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify gaps and loopholes in systems and processes, and define or implement enforcement strategies to mitigate the risks.
    • Manage internal and external escalations, quantify the impact and size, triage with the relevant stakeholders such as Product, Policy, Ops, Engineering, Modeling etc., and ensure the resolution and mitigation of the risks.
    • Evaluate early detection of risks and trends, and improve earlier or prevention of future risks and trends.
    • Execute internal operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize workflows.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and above, or equivalent experience in product operations, program management or insights and analytics.
    • Quantitative and qualitative data-oriented, with the ability to identify product and business problems and solutions from data.
    • Demonstrated strong logical thinking ability, including experience in breaking down complex problems.
    • Experience in SQL and spreadsheet software.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience working with a platform product such as short video, live broadcast, e-commerce and other internet platforms.
    • Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
    • Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
