This role is based in our Munich office.
Responsibilities:
- Defining the long-term strategy, leading key initiatives, and setting future direction of the different categories
- Responsible for the P&L of the different categories
- Providing industry knowledge and leveraging your own network to ensure success of categories
- Hiring and coaching the best talent
- Acquiring partners by actively identifying, prioritising and onboarding to the platform
- Developing partners by driving and managing end to end partnerships
- Collaborate across different teams to unlock partners' potential on the platform, drive brand growth and adoption of livestream and short videos
- Navigating through ambiguity, adapting to frequent changes and influencing key stakeholders to drive decisions for the category
- Decomposing complex problems, devising new approaches and creating scalable solutions
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Extensive experience in different industry/category management
- Strong track record in leading a category and delivering against stretching performance goal
- Experience of owning P&L on a commerce platform/marketplace
- Strong knowledge of the German Home and Living industry landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution and mobile transformation
- Strong understanding of social commerce, content marketing and influencers
- Fluent in English and German to ease communication with german stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in managing diverse teams
- Growth orientated mindset, self-starter with strong communication skills who can manage strategic partner relationships
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change
