Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design across Local Services, with a focus on POI-driven user journeys from content discovery to transaction and fulfillment.
- Simplify complex user roles and business logic (user, merchant, creator) into clear interaction flows and intuitive layouts.
- Architect scalable design systems that ensure visual and functional consistency across mobile, web, and diverse market contexts.
- Apply data-informed decision making through A/B testing, user feedback, and behavioral insights to iterate and improve design quality and impact.
- Present and defend design strategy to senior stakeholders, clearly articulating design rationale and user-centered trade-offs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, research, ops, and content teams to align on strategy and ensure seamless delivery.
- Mentor junior designers through structured guidance and feedback to accelerate their growth.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Compuer Interaction (HCI), Digital Art, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 8+ years in full-cycle digital product design, with at least 3 years leading major product areas or design workstreams.
- Experience designing for more than 3 role platforms-balancing UX needs across user, creator/vendor, and ops personas.
- Proven ability to run structured design workflows and drive measurable impact through data-informed iteration and A/B testing.
- Launched products into 3+ different global markets, adapting UI and interaction patterns for localization and accessibility design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at global-scale consumer tech companies, where content, growth, and transaction intersect.
- Proven track record of delivering multi-platform products, with hands-on experience in e-commerce, OTA, or O2O service platforms.
- Built or maintained design systems with 50+ components, used across multi-region and multi-language environments.
- Led strategic design initiatives from user research to final execution, aligning with cross-functional stakeholders and delivering measurable positive impact
- Strong passion for TikTok, with a nuanced understanding of its content formats, user behaviors, and platform dynamics.
