    Position summary

    surface emergent risks in the market, and drive operational optimisation to improve users' live-shopping experience.

    You should have the ability to shuttle from policy formulation to effective implementation to program management, and make and implement nuanced policy decisions.

    Responsibilities

    1. Develop data-driven strategies and policies to evaluate and manage risk, violations, rewards, penalties, as well as performance of the platform.
    2. Conduct actionable data analyses to measure, identify, mitigate, and monitor risks to raise the overall ecommerce ecosystem quality. Develop and implement new signals, metrics and risks prioritisation - to monitor and identify new content quality and abuse trends from large datasets.
    3. Engage cross-functional stakeholders to consolidate, pre-empt and analyse governance pain points; derive and implement action plans and operational workflows to resolve them.
    4. Develop, launch and implement new policies and operational workflows - in collaboration with cross-functional teams like Engineering, Operations, Moderation, Product, and Policy - to enhance large-scale automation, risk detection and mitigation, as well as quality assurance and improvements.
    5. Develop and implement feedback loops and operational workflows to ensure the day-to-day quality of launches and implementation.
    6. Implement and review dashboards and cases as needed, to ensure day-to-day ecosystem health.
    7. Act as an escalation point of contact and manage internal communications on governance issues.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. Strong bachelor's degree or above or equivalent practical experience.
    2. Experience in data-driven roles involving development of programs and/or framing policies.
    3. Preferably also have experience in end-to-end project management taking initiatives from 0 to 1 and ability to drive effective partnerships with cross-functional teams to align on common goals.
    4. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations to drive actions.

    Preferred Qualifications

    1. Experience in E-Commerce, marketplace platforms, social media, or content creation.
    2. A grasp of the national and regional culture and context, as well as compliance landscape.
    3. Demonstate enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to develop new skills.
    4. Expertise in communication skills, driving for results and managing changes with ability to influence positive outcomes.
    5. Willingness and an inclination to roll up sleeves, work with stakeholders, review data and content to tease out on-ground realities and address gaps accordingly.
    6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar data tool.
