You will work closely with regional and global teams to help both EU/UK local merchants and China-based cross-border sellers grow their businesses by adopting FBT-improving logistics performance, enhancing buyer experience, and increasing sales.
Responsibilities
Seller Growth & Market Expansion
- Drive FBT adoption across new EU markets (e.g. Germany, France, Spain, Italy) and the UK across local and China-based cross-border sellers
- Build and execute seller acquisition strategies tailored to local EU/UK merchants and cross-border merchants from China.
- Partner with Global Selling teams to support outbound sellers entering European markets via FBT.
- Develop scalable onboarding programs to accelerate seller activation and performance including outreach
User Experience & Merchant Research
- Prioritize merchant UX and reduce onboarding friction through continuous feedback and design iteration.
- Conduct and apply user research and merchant interviews to improve FBT operational flows.
- Advocate for intuitive, market-relevant fulfillment experiences for sellers and end customers.
Regulatory Compliance & Fulfillment Standards
- Ensure full compliance with EU and UK logistics regulations
- Collaborate with Legal, Tax, Compliance, and Ops teams to localize services to each market's requirements.
Merchant Success & Optimization
- Serve as a strategic consultant for key EU/UK and China-based merchants scaling through FBT.
- Identify merchant needs by segment (local vs. cross-border) and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Track seller performance metrics (activation, retention) across regions and seller types.
- Identify friction points, propose scalable fixes, and contribute to product improvement roadmaps.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Tech, Operations, Logistics, Legal, and Global Selling teams to deliver unified fulfillment programs.
- Represent EU/UK market needs in global fulfillment strategy and product development.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and above, 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, fulfillment/logistics, commercial strategy, or category/BD leadership;
- Strong understanding of both EU/UK local merchant ecosystems and China cross-border selling models;
- Knowledge of EU regulatory compliance, including VAT, hazmat, and customs;
- Experience building and scaling seller enablement and fulfillment solutions in high-growth environments;
- Familiarity with B-end (merchant tools, dashboards) and C-end (buyer experience, SLAs) product flows;
- Strong grasp of user experience principles and practical user research methods;
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or a MBA is desired;
- Mandarin and/or a major European language (e.g. German, French, Spanish) is a strong plus in order to better communicate with internal and external stakeholders in the assigned market;
- Previous work experience as a product manager is preferred;
- Familiar with FBT business model is preferred.
