Responsibilities
-Partner with last-mile operations and carrier management teams to understand network changes, capacity limits, and new service offerings.
-Work with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into routing logic specifications
-Provide/prepare clear documentation, business review proposal for engineering implementation.
-Work closely with product team, R&D and Data Science team on continuous improvement for smart Route Engine
Strategy & Rule Design including but not limited to:
-Develop and maintain the overall strategy for SRE logic, including cost optimization, SLA adherence, transit-time rules, and zone-based routing
-Design system rules for carrier selection, capacity allocation, regional routing, and fallback logic
-Implement dynamic routing strategies based on real-time performance, peak demand, and carrier constraints
-Conduct A/B testing and simulation modeling for new routing logic or carrier strategies
-Adjust routing strategies based on carrier performance, peak readiness, promotional events, or regional demand spikes
-Other operational strategy related tasks assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
-4+years of experience in logistics analytics, carrier strategy, e-commerce operations, or routing/optimization systems
-Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
-Strong understanding of parcel logistics, last-mile carrier networks, delivery SLAs, and cost structures
-Ability to translate operational needs into structured system rules and logic
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience with Smart Routing Engines, OMS/TMS systems, or allocation engines
-Exposure to machine learning-based routing optimization or predictive models
-Experience working directly with product & engineering teams in agile environments
-E-commerce or marketplace platform operations experience

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $100320 - $187720 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
