Responsibilities:
- Understand the commerce growth history in global markets, identify strategic opportunities, and optimize overall business efficiency.
- Establish and lead the Business Strategy and Operations team, break down business goals, assist each team in establishing sub-goals and plans, and design communication and decision-making mechanisms to ensure project progress.
- Organize the team to explore best practices, abstract effective operational methodologies applicable locally, promote cross-team learning within the business, and strengthen knowledge transfer among new and existing employees.
- Collaborate closely with all cross-functional teams, be familiar with the work plans and priorities of each team, and assist business leaders in making decisions on key projects, strategies, and executions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Project management experience, data analysis skill and strategic thinking
- Strategic with demonstrable, hands-on, experience working in one or more of the following; Operational Strategy, Management Consulting, Growth Strategies, Commercial Analysis, and Enterprise Management.
- Experience overseeing strategic projects, driving forward cross-team collaboration, and influencing decision-making through data with actionable insights.
- Good written and oral proficiency in Chinese and Japanese is required for internal communication with stakeholders based in global and Chinese-speaking regions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge/understanding of business models similar to TikTok and other content-based platforms.
- Experience working across different markets, sectors, and countries.
