    Position summary

    h safeguard assets and Associates. Develops and drives shrink strategy with senior Executives. Ensures compliance to Loss Prevention Best Practices by constantly evaluating the effectiveness of those programs and changing as needed to ensure assets are protected.

    Major Areas of Responsibility

    Leads the Loss Prevention business and team within area:

    • Collaborates to provide strategic vision and direction of company programs and initiatives that drive profitable sales.

    • Develops and implements 1-3 years business strategy in partnership with direct reports and senior partners.

    • Oversees the management and implementation of all LP programs, ensuring a safe working environment.

    • Ensures proper execution and continuous improvement of company programs.

    • Business & Managerial Coaching/Development:

    • Sets a clear and robust strategy for succession planning that meets growth needs and talent gaps.

    • Ensures adequate availability of qualified LP associates at all levels through effective talent pool planning to sustain existing operations as well as future organizational growth.

    • Hires, trains, coaches, provides feedback and develops a large LP team

    Business Planning & Execution:

    • Develops and maintains relationships with key business partners.

    • Builds and executes company Asset Protection core role responsibilities:

      • Workplace and Associate Safety
      • Shrink and Theft mitigation strategies
      • Brand protection
      • Property protection
    • Manages and delivers all applicable Loss Prevention expense and capital budget plans.

    Associate & Community Relations:

    • Adheres to Company policies and maintains and supports Company culture and values. Models and fosters a positive associate experience and maximizes TJX and Loss Prevention developmental tools and resources.

    Special Projects as assigned

    Specify the measure and size of this job's financial responsibility:

    • Responsible for annual $4M - $60M+ combined budget in payroll, expense, and capital.

    Describe the kinds of decisions made by the incumbent (e.g., hire/fire, technical decisions,

    markdowns, merchandise pricing/selection). Also, specify what recommendations are referred to the next level of management or others for approval.

    • Hires, trains, evaluates, promotes and develops their team

    • Policy & Procedure Approval

    • Chain Wide Investigative Strategy

    • Payroll, Capital, & Expense Resource Planning

    • Legal & Liability Issues

    • Organization structure/vision

    Minimum formal education, if any, required to perform this job e.g., Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Law Degree).

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience

    Minimum job skills required to perform this job (for example: programming languages, strong interpersonal skills, computer software packages).

    • Knowledge of retail store and/or supply chain operations

    • Progressive knowledge of Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, & Investigative methods

    • Collaboration & Influencing skills

    • Strategic prioritization, multi-tasking & planning skills

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Skilled at software platforms (ie Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

    • Demonstrated ability to manage, train & develop high performing teams

    • Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports

    • Ability to travel

    • Ability to manage a virtual team

    Minimum experience required to perform this job.

    • 8+ Years in Loss Prevention, Store Operations, or other related experience, including 5+ years of management experience

    This position has a starting salary range of $142,500.00 to $185,300.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
