What You'll Do:
Supports the internal job change process for the business by creating and evaluating job descriptions, developing salary recommendations, and creating internal offer letters and job profiles in alignment with service level agreements.
Assists in providing analysis of compensation data and compensation related issues from the business, including preparing and presenting reports on compensation trends and recommendations.
Assists with the annual salary and hourly review processes, short- and long-term bonus payouts, and annual stock option grant processes by completing required analysis, generating reports, maintaining dashboards, assessing and auditing data, completing systems updates, and testing where required.
Identifies opportunities, provides recommendations, and executes solutions to support continuous improvement and streamlining of compensation processes, programs, and policies.
About You:
Minimum two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a compensation analysis role.
Ability to identify, organize and analyze data using multiple databases and spreadsheets. Good analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions.
Good time-management skills including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, working with tight timelines and escalating higher priority issues when necessary.
Strong computer skills related to Excel - creating spreadsheets and modeling (use of advanced formulas, pivot tables, graphs, and ability to interpret and manipulate large sets of data; using macro's is an asset); intermediate skills in other Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of data analysis tools such as power BI, Tableau etc. considered an asset.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate and interpret information accurately, and able to develop and build relationships with internal and external partners / team members. Demonstrates strong customer service skills including efficiently and effectively responding to inquiries or resolving any conflicts or problems that might arise.
