    Position summary

    PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

    The primary function of the Inventory Cycle Counter is to facilitate the process of inventory control through a system of counting inventory in location. Position require an above average attention to detail to identify and correct inventory discrepancies and accurately count merchandise in locations on foot as well as on a lift.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experienced lift operator or ability to pass Lift Operator test

    • Knowledge/experience of cycle counting, basic inventory control practices

    • Mathematical aptitude (addition/subtraction/multiplication)

    • Operate a radio frequency (RF) gun to scan merchandise

    • High attention to detail and accurate reporting

    • Some product familiarity and identification

    • Available to work overtime and flexible schedules

    • Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision

    • Able to stay on feet and walk for entire shift

    • Ability to climb stairs, utilize step ladders

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    ADDITIONAL NOTE

    Position will report to IC Supervisors, but will not be performing IC functions unless needs of the business dictates.

    The position requires a person that is reliable and consistent in both schedule and performance.

    Must be physically able to pass metal scanners to gain access in secured locations (no excessive jewelry, piercings, or attire with metal)
