y with the Policy and Compliance team, the role ensures consistent application of policies and supports ongoing compliance across TJX Europe.
Policy development
Support the delivery of the policy strategy across Europe including project management activities, supporting implementation, working with key stakeholders and managing communication cascade
Conduct research and benchmarking across Europe to inform policy roadmap and ensure alignment with best practice
Ensure all policies and any associated forms and letters are kept up to date with current legislation and company standards
Maintain policy templates to ensure they remain clear, accessible and consistent in tone
Work with our external partner to ensure consistent formatting and quality control across our suite of policies
Deliver upskills to our HR Business Partners and HR Service Centre on any policy updates or new policy launches
Support the development and delivery of manager tools and training related to policy and compliance.
Partner with the inclusion & diversity team to ensure policies are inclusive and reflect best practice
Compliance activity
Implement HR compliance activities and support compliance projects as directed by the Senior Manager.
Support immigration compliance processes in partnership with Compliance Manager, ensuring right to work guidance and sponsorship procedures are up to date and communicated effectively.
Assist with preparations for external audits (e.g., Home Office) and maintain accurate compliance records.
Teamwork & collaboration
As part of the ER COE, become a trusted partner in the development and delivery of effective policy and compliance solutions.
Work collaboratively with the team to deliver policy and compliance objectives.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of ER processes.
Governance and continuous improvement
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
Support the monitoring and reporting of compliance and policy metrics
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Significant UK Employee Relations experience, ideally in a retail or customer-facing environment.
Experience writing and updating policies and accompanying letters and forms.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change
