Identify, research and risk assess the impact of new Health and Safety legislation across the region, work with team business partners to devise European amendment proposals, provide reports and work with the regional managers to manage change to ensure corporate and legal compliance.
Develop and maintain strong effective cross-functional business partnerships across the region and work with Stakeholders to raise compliance and facilitate solutions in High Risk areas.
Support development, manage and Implement Health and Safety education programs for store, offices and distribution teams to ensure roles and responsibilities are fully understood and policies are adhered to.
Build effective External and internal relationships and networks to ensure legal compliance and industrial /retail knowledge
Manage & Investigate serious incidents and provide appropriate recommendations and support to influence risk reduction through policy change.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Minimum professional qualification to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) specialist at Senior Level or equivalent
Fire safety knowledge
English advance language skills
Ability to build and influence effective partnerships with Key Stakeholders
Demonstrates strong leadership skills
Strong understanding/knowledge of the off price model
