You will focus on identifying and implementing strategic talent solutions in support of evolving business needs, ensuring that the overall organization and culture are designed around strategic talent growth with a heavy focus on talent development, succession planning and a culture of inclusion. As an HR Business Partner within the California Buying Office, you will be an integral member of both the CBO HR team and our wider Corporate HR team. You will collaborate with and leverage HR's Centers of Expertise (COEs) and HR Operations Support Center for business solutions, to guide the acquisition, development, engagement, and retention of TJX corporate Associates within your assigned client organization(s).
This hybrid position is based in Los Angeles, CA.
What You Will Do:
Support all Human Resources related practices for assigned functional area/s while also providing leadership, strategic counsel, advisory and consultative services to support organizational goals and objectives
Provide thought partnership to key business and HR partners to understand and plan for future talent and organizational needs, including support around leadership summits
Partner with functional leaders to build and execute upon their talent strategies, including organizational development, talent development, learning & development, and performance management
Support the acceleration of talent to ensure proper succession and readiness to enable business growth and effectiveness
Champion culture, Inclusion & Diversity, and wellbeing within the California Buying Office
Enable continuous improvement and change management
Guide the acquisition, staffing, development, and retention of TJX Associates
Collaborate in the management of compensation, and benefits programs and support a high level of employee engagement through the stewardship of a healthy work environment
Advocate use of performance management and feedback mechanisms to ensure frequent, candid communication with Associates
Facilitate executive development assessments and development programs to enhance leadership capabilities
Who We Are Looking For: You
Demonstrated knowledge of HR strategy, policies and processes and their implementation
Strong interpersonal skills, with a team orientation, and the ability to collaborate, partner and build effective working relationships with internal partners in a constantly evolving environment
Strong learning agility, critical thinking, and strategic mindset
Rigorous pursuit of practical business solutions while spontaneously responding to the day to day needs of the business
Demonstrated success working as a strategic business partner; demonstrable track record of defining and delivering HR strategy that meets long-term, strategic business goals
Proven experience supporting and influencing leaders in the advancement of Inclusion and Diversity strategies and initiatives
Developed full life cycle project management skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
Superior team building, emotional intelligence, and leadership skills
Propensity to identify opportunities and determine solutions for enhancing efficiencies and effectiveness
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to communicate complex information in a clear and compelling way
Demonstrated ability to influence decision making by gathering, analyzing, and drawing insights from data
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
5+ years of comparable HRBP experience, additional specialized CoE such as Recruiting, Organizational Development, Talent Management experience a plus
Understanding of HR best practices and experience with employee relations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite
Experience supporting a dynamic, large scale corporate environment (global experience a plus)
Experience working in a high growth organization
MBA and/or HR Certification a plus

This position has a starting salary range of $90,200 to $115,200 per year.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
