Senior Engineer

As a Senior Engineer on the Loss Prevention Engineering team at TJX you will play a critical role in supporting our global supply chain operations by ensuring reliable deployment, configuration, and management of LP technology solutions. As a Senior Engineer you will spearhead the design and engineer of loss prevention systems, including camera layouts, access control points, and alarm systems, to meet business needs and security standards. Maintaining and supporting Genetec-based infrastructure and integrated security technologies. This includes LP cameras, access control points, license plate readers (LPR), and shooter detection systems (SDS). Your work will help ensure the safety and security of our distribution centers and logistics operations.

You'll be a strong fit for this role if you're coming with hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and supporting LP Systems in Global Supply Chain Engineering. Focusing on optimization of enterprise-scale Genetec security platforms to support loss prevention, operational visibility, and site security across our global distribution center locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for all loss prevention technology, providing support and troubleshooting for complex issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and Facilities, to ensure seamless integration of security systems with existing infrastructure.

• Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify security vulnerabilities and recommend technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

• Maintain documentation and follow change management processes

What You will Need (Minimum Qualifications)

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Genetec (LP cameras, NVR, Access Control Systems, Security Systems).

• Proven experience in a technical role focused on the design and implementation of physical security systems.

• Knowledge of security technologies, including IP cameras, Network Video Recorders (NVRs), access control systems, and alarm systems.

• Experience with network infrastructure and IT principles as they relate to security systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

• Experience with system monitoring tools and firmware configurations

• Understanding of ITIL practices and service management tools

• Exposure to enterprise-grade physical security and incident response systems
