Senior Engineer - Performance Testing

In this role, you will own the performance testing strategy, drive tool adoption and optimization, and work closely with engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams to proactively identify and mitigate performance risks across cloud-based and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities
Define and own the end-to-end performance testing strategy for enterprise-scale, cloud-based applications
Design, execute, and analyze performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests
Identify system bottlenecks across application, middleware, database, and infrastructure layers and provide actionable recommendations
Perform POCs and evaluations of performance testing tools and approaches
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery models
Collaborate with Product, Platform, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure performance is built in early
Establish performance benchmarks, SLAs, and performance gates for releases
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in performance engineering
Contribute to overall quality strategy by partnering with Enterprise Test Automation and DevOps teams

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and distributed systems
Experience partnering with Enterprise DevOps teams on performance and reliability best practices
Experience with QA automation.
