What will you do:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, high-visibility projects from initiation through execution and delivery within the POS and Payments team. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams, executives, and Business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager also plays a key role in driving process improvement, mentoring project team members, and advancing project management maturity across the organization. You will collaborate closely across delivery, product and engineering functions, working alongside Scrum and Kanban teams and integrating into their established flow of work to support planning, prioritization, execution, and cross-team coordination.
You will be accountable for delivering value to the business and stakeholders. Understanding the TJX Solution Delivery Process (SDP) while adhering to compliance guidelines is key.
The following are examples of typical Senior Project Manager activities:
Manage Business expectations for project engagement, time commitments, and delivery timeline
Ensure timely and accurate communication with leadership and key stakeholders
Proven capability in building, managing, and maintaining project plans and schedules
Facilitate Steering Committee meetings and reports project status to Senior Leadership
Demonstrate a growth mindset and actively seek opportunities to drive efficiency across the Project Management function
Support the teams and remove impediments and track dependencies
Creation and management of risk and issue log. Identify and mitigate project risks early, escalate as needed
Drive resolution of issues that impact timeline, scope, or budget
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of project management experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially the ability to communicate technical concepts to business users and to communicate business needs to the technical teams
Demonstrated ability at building strong relations with all levels in the organization and various business units
Proven success working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
Adaptable and Agile can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make project adjustments to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in fast-paced environment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Certified SAFe® Lean Portfolio Manager
Basic knowledge of SPI, PCI, PII and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence and presentation tools
Experience with Oracle Retail Xstore POS and payment integrations (e.g. Verifone, Adyen, WorldPay, etc) a bonus
Understanding of retail operations, in-store technologies, and omnichannel commerce a bonus
Exposure to a diverse portfolio of applications is a plus

This position has a starting salary range of $116,200.00 to $151,000.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
