    This role demands the ability to understand the best signage and digital solutions, whilst developing on-brand conceptual ideas that reflect the commercial and customer needs of each trading division. A key component of the role involves viewing projects through a creative lens and strategic vision, to bring innovative ideas to the table and implement them across all stores in Europe and online.

    You will need to demonstrate cross functional working to ensure the delivery of all innovative solutions, special projects and test and learn initiatives that in turn support trade initiatives across the business. Significant influencing, communication, and presentation skills to a wide audience of stakeholders as well as developing strong relationships with external agencies will be essential.

    The Shopping Experience Manager will be required to work in close partnership with the wider business as appropriate e.g. Central Operations, Store Operations, Property & Store Design, Ecommerce, Creative Services, External Store Design Agency and TJX Global brands, as well as Marketing and CR. They will be expected to develop deep relationships that both facilitate and strengthen the work being produced.

    What You'll Do

    • Manage cross-functional way of working with business partners to ensure alignment of broader business objectives including, brand, trading and merchandising initiatives driven out through TIM.

    • Own and drive specific projects and in doing so deliver clear briefs, help develop ideas through to delivery in store and online.

    • Brief and plan the omni-channel customer experience in accordance with business strategy and timings.

    • Constantly innovate, working closely with key stakeholders from concept to execution. Continually push and drive innovative ways of executing our off-price model, either through messaging activity directly or by influencing our retail partners.

    • Exploration and collation of analysis, following execution of in store and online projects and sharing results and recommendations with the wider business.

    • Build good working relationships with our third-party agencies including Print Production and Design Agencies.

    • Build a strong network amongst core partners within the business, notably Central Operations, Store Operations, Property & Store Design, Ecommerce, Creative Services, Marketing and CR peers and Stores.

    • Champion a customer first mind-set within our business and partner cross functionally to drive marketing innovation in trading store concepts, working in tandem with their peers in the Shopping Experience Community to support a seamless customer experience that is commercial and respects our off-price model.

    • Familiar with the instore environment and how to use and develop our strategic thinking to communicate our off-price model across all stores and markets.

    What You'll Bring

    • Experience evaluating creative output and interpreting brand vision through creative execution

    • Attention to detail - able to push and develop the best work through our partner agencies

    • An ability to easily flex between a tactical and strategic approach as each project requires - able to understand context and connect dots to stay ahead of issues and maximise opportunities

    • Demonstrate effective decision making, creative problem solving, planning, organising and ability to manage through others

    • +8 years Brand / Marketing experience - preferably in retail

    • Have excellent communication skills, able to adapt to the needs of an audience and being confident in influencing cross functional teams

    • Ecom and digital experience would be beneficial

    • Experience working for a large format retailer, or in a similarly fast paced, continuously evolving retail environment would be beneficial

    • Strong commercial and analytical skills

    • A proven history of managing (external) design agencies, demonstrating how to get the best possible work out into the world

    • Strong cross functional collaboration, influencing & stakeholder management skills, partnering at all levels

    • Solid project management skills with a proven ability to effectively plan and manage to tight deadlines

    • Up to date knowledge of the latest retail trends, thinking and practice

    • Customer first mindset

    • Resilient, energetic and enthusiastic. Responds constructively to new ideas in an evolving environment

    • An ability to understand and apply learnings from customer insights and data information to shape initiatives

    • Strong understanding of the off-price retail model and customer behaviours

    • Flexible, able to find solutions in unknown circumstances, comfortable "working in the grey".

    • Knowledge of the TKMaxx / HomeSense in store retail environment and the working practices would be beneficial

    • European retail market knowledge

    • Skilled user of Microsoft office programs - word, PowerPoint, excel and outlook
