s, features, and stories will ensure that the scrum team is enabled to configure, build, and enhance our solutions with high quality. You will lead sprint planning to ensure the team commitments are achievable, the business requirements are met, and the team in performing optimally. Communication and collaboration are key to this role, and you will be working closely with business partners and other IT teams on a weekly basis. You will prioritize the scrum team's backlog, manage stakeholder expectations, work with the team to prepare and present the sprint review/demo, prepare user stories, document "as-is" and "to-be" states, lead sprint planning, actively participate in scrum ceremonies, and work across teams as needed. You will be a voice-of-the-customer in everything you are do, maximizing the value that you deliver for your end-users.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for defining team product backlog of user stories, including backlog prioritization, refinement, and creating of acceptance criteria (incl. Definition of Done)
Partner with the Product Manager to understand customer needs, pain points, workflows, priorities, etc. to translate those into PI features that drive the program increment objectives
Drives iteration goals and content via prioritized user stories
Leverage proficient product/domain knowledge that guides, informs, and provides insight on what product enhancements, maintenance, and efficiencies are needed
Product decision maker including functional and NFRs; accepts users stories and iteration increments
Conducts impact analysis for optimal product delivery, customer/industry trends, etc.
Contributes to the vision, roadmap, and ROI
Voice-of-the-customer for teams, including being the liaison between the business and the team
Ensure risk and dependencies are identified and managed
Responsible for consultative partnering and stakeholder management
Uses metrics to assess team progress and areas for improvement
Prepares and presents the system demo; participates in release train ceremonies
Solicits feedback from customers and the team for possible inclusion in future activities
Enables the team to be empowered and self-regulated, by educating the team on functional knowledge required to execute on sprint and PI goals
What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent engineering skillset, training, or functional work experience
5+ years of experience as a product owner
Proven success working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of measurable business impact
Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, organizational, and mentorship skills
Practiced consultative partnership with customers, with the ability to translate functional needs into requirements that drive value
Ability to collaborate with PMs, lead engineers, and teams to align features, technical enablers, and priorities with the team backlog.
Create and maintain user stories, facilitate backlog refinement, and manage technical debt and remediation items.
Support QA strategy, business release documentation, and creation of end-to-end flows. Coordinate with other ARTs for dependencies and assist the SM with escalations to Engineering Management.
Hands on experience participating in and leading SAFe events, such as sprint planning, release planning, and PI planning
Knowledge of Oracle EBS, Vertex, ReconNet, C2FO, Kyriba, OneStream, IBM Planning Analytics, Lucernex, or other key financial applications
SaaS application experience
Preferred Qualifications
Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM) preferred
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Aha, VSTS, or similar

This position has a starting salary range of $101,500.00 to $131,900.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
