    Hybrid work
    Udemy is headquartered in San Francisco with global offices in Australia, India, Ireland, Türkiye, and other US locations. Our robust hybrid work model spans San Francisco, Denver, Ankara, Dublin, and Melbourne. This hybrid position requires two days per week in the office at the nearest hub.       About this role
      We are hiring a resourceful and self-motivated Senior Executive Business Partner to provide strategic and administrative support to our CEO. This position is ideal for a dynamic, resourceful, highly organized individual who takes ownership of the details and loves to get things done. The role requires a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently with sound judgment. This position will require strong project management skills and experience seeing projects through the full life cycle. The ideal candidate has successfully supported a CEO in a previous role and wants to form long-term professional relationships with high-performing, fast-moving, entrepreneurial leaders.

      What you'll be doing:

      • Manage the CEO’s calendar, travel and all administrative duties

      • Partner with our CEO to understand his priorities and build processes to make work more effective

      • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to csuite stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

      • Oversee development and execution for special projects and initiatives identified by the CEO or Leadership Team and is viewed as a thought leader in conversations.

      • Manage projects including scoping new initiatives, organizing working teams, establishing timelines, driving project execution and reporting on progress to the CEO and Executive Leaders

      • Be comfortable acting as a proxy for your executive in stakeholder meetings

      • ​​Be a culture-contributor: coordinate department initiatives, lead, highlight, and celebrate essential team and career moments. Show impeccable judgment when it comes to high-visibility or sensitive issues

      • Able to act with urgency and calm even in high-stress situations

      • Plan agendas, provide high-quality meeting notes, perform action follow-ups, execute logistics for regular senior leadership meetings and off-sites

      • Assist with the preparation of presentations, proposals, reports, and other business correspondence

      • Help with arranging team activities and recognition initiatives for team members on an ongoing basis

        What you’ll have
        While this work is based more on the skills a person has than what they have done, we think a typical profile could include the following:

        • Previous experience supporting a CEO at a publicly traded company

        • Deep experience building PowerPoint/Google presentations

        • Strong writing skills - you're comfortable setting and accepting direction over email/Slack (either 1:1 or with a large group)

        • Strong relationship builder - you have a track record of taking the time to get to know your key stakeholders, understand their needs and working styles and you know how to coordinate people to get things done

        • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and perform a variety of tasks with little supervision, a strong sense of urgency, and a positive can-do attitude

        • A team-oriented individual with the ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff in the resolution of problems and the completion of tasks

        • Strong organizational skills necessary to organize and manage a workload that involves tight deadlines, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits and equity.
              Hiring Compensation Range
              $144,000 — $180,000 USD
