    About the Role:

    The Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) serves as UKG's key subject matter expert in healthcare operations and workforce management, developing and nurturing strategic relationships and partnerships between UKG and healthcare executives across all settings of care. Through this strategic relationship management, the CNE extends the brand awareness of UKG's healthcare expertise and innovative workforce management solutions and broadens UKG's partnership network. In collaboration with UKG's senior leadership and external strategy partners, the CNE develops and executes a long-term (e.g. 3 to 5 year) strategy.

    The CNE serves as UKG's thought leader (both internally and externally) on all healthcare industry developments that impact workforce management, including through presentations as well as written communications such as articles in professional journals, white papers, and blog articles. Internally, the CNE provides strategic advice to UKG product development, and supports marketing and sales leaders to grow healthcare revenue by providing strategic advice and participating in critical points in the sales cycle. Externally, this role represents UKG at relevant industry and professional forums such as conferences, committees, and task forces, keeping stakeholders apprised about UKG strategy and workforce solutions. The CNE maintains currency about technology-enabled workforce solutions across the industry, including those offered by UKG competitors, and is able to articulate UKG's unique value proposition.

    About You:

    As an individual contributor, this candidate possesses excellent relationship and verbal and written communication skills. This individual will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively across all relevant UKG functions and departments, such as with senior leadership, product development, marketing, and sales, ensuring that current workforce challenges and future healthcare trends are translated in UKG's solutions. This position requires a flexible and innovative style to meet demands from across UKG, including deadline and budget requirements. The CNE maintains an executive presence at national industry meetings, events, and committees as UKG's key healthcare spokesperson.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Master's degree or higher in a healthcare-related field, such as nursing, informatics, healthcare administration, or business

    • A current RN License

    • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare senior management and workforce operations, including developing and understanding the business case for using technology solutions in workforce management. Is able to articulate an appreciation for the criticality of data and the capabilities that technology offers to streamline and automate healthcare functions, creating a positive ROI for UKG customers.

    • A creative and visionary mindset that understands healthcare workforce challenges and trends as well as how innovative technology solutions can help to address them

    • A strategic thinker with demonstrated experience in developing, executing, and monitoring a long-term strategic plan

    • Ability to influence others and develop meaningful relationships with senior leaders across the healthcare industry, including UKG customers, healthcare senior leaders, association leaders, and other industry partners

    • A team player, capable of thriving in highly collaborative and cross-functional settings, sometimes taking the lead, sometimes following another leader

    • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills, such as through previous professional presentations, published articles, proposals, white papers and/or case studies

    The pay range for this position is $159,000 to $229,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
