About the Role:
As a retail fellow your responsibilities will be as follows.
Key Responsibilities
Develop long term 3-5 year Retail strategy in partnership with senior leadership and external strategy partners
Broaden retail focused partnership network reach and make recommendations on additional partners needed to either create and/or deepen relationships
Be a strategic advisor to global senior leaders inside and outside the organization by providing thought-provoking content and novel solutions that solve complex issues affecting the professionals in retail.
Leads special Retail projects with a company-wide footprint that serve internal and external customers and impact the future success of the business.
Work closely with the product team to further policy initiatives that will accelerate go-to-market strategies for new products
Actively identify policy development opportunities to promote UKG's products
Leads formal network of distinguished experts that aim to promote strategic and practical application across the retail vertical.
Educate internal stakeholders/teams on retail initiatives and strategy
Serve as a critical thought leader for UKG on developments in the WFM and HCM space within the Retail vertical
Create a library of original thought leadership content (blogs / white papers) that can be leveraged to communicate UKG's brand value proposition to internal and external stakeholders
Pioneers new methods and proactively identifies and solves the most complex issues of the employer-employee dynamic.
Represent UKG at industry association and key influencer events (ex. SHRM)
Become a media spokesperson working directly with the Corporate Communications team to widen our presence in Retail
Participate in regular briefings with industry influencers to keep them apprised of UKG strategy
Represent UKG at industry association and key influencer events
Provide expertise to associations through work groups, committees and taskforces
Account Development - Enable sales to grow retail revenue through a variety of strategies and tactics designed to progress through the sales funnel
Participate in client pitches and support RFP / shortlist content development
Help incorporate important policy objectives in client presentations
Offer advice and strategic direction to current retail team member(s)
Connect with existing customers to learn stories and create advocacy opportunities through various marketing outlets
Support Retail Industry Marketing on new messaging and speaking engagements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher plus 15+ years of experience focused on influencing/advising or building a business case with executive stakeholders for HCM technology investments in the Retail industry.
Capable of thriving in highly collaborative and cross functional settings. Sometimes taking the lead, sometimes following a leader
Develop long term 3-5-year Retail strategy in partnership with senior leadership and external strategy partners
Ability to influence others and development meaningful connections with senior leaders in Retail industry
A creative and visionary mindset to help drive business growth

The pay range for this position is $179,800 to $258,500, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
