    Position summary

    form technical design, development, maintenance and enhancement of data reporting solutions, balancing optimization considerations with usability and supportability while leveraging existing objects and strategic technologies. Specific duties include:

    • Developing and delivering on designs that will meet business needs for various BI Applications in areas like Extract, Transform and Load, and BI Enterprise Reporting.

    • Translating business requirements into detailed technical designs, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.

    • Gathering Business Intelligence, Enterprise Data Warehouse & Oracle EBS Report requirements.

    • Maintaining or enhancing design documents for existing BI solutions, create and maintain Data Warehouse data model following set standards, utilizing both Relational and Dimensional Modeling techniques.

    • Establishing design and development standards based on industry best practices to ensure quality consistency and code reusability and analyze existing Data Warehouse data to ensure quality and design solutions for issues discovered.

    • Creating and maintaining metadata to ensure consistent metric definitions and nomenclature that is used within the BI environment.

    • Providing operational support when necessary by troubleshooting reported issues, determining root cause, and designing solutions.

    • Troubleshooting and tuning existing applications proactively to maintain high service level standards.

    • Leading and assisting in development efforts as part of UKG Kronos' Global support Model Initiative by working with technical resources in other geographic locations.

    • Providing inputs on Data Models and ETL processes based on business requirements and in-depth knowledge of data sources.

    • Owning the development and overall maintenance of technical design documents, including summary, system design, data linage, change controls and signoff.

    • Consistently delivering on time and high-quality products and act as a liaison to other team members on standards, programming techniques, and other relevant topics.

    • Working in conjunction with IT Teams and other stakeholders to align with the business on prioritization of solution work, providing detailed communication on scheduled progress of work.

    Requirements:

    Master's degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 1 year of pre- or post-Master's degree experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst. Must also have had 1 year of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above) working with BI development using Cognos Reporting and ETL development, enterprise level relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server), Cognos Framework Modeling and Cognos Powerplay.

    Position requires rotating 24x7 production support on average 7-10 days each month.

    This is a hybrid position working 3 days at the company's office in Alpharetta, Georgia and 2 days working from a home office.
