Major Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety and attendance rules, shop regulations and equipment requirements.

  • Collect quality data and record the results of work performed.

  • Disassemble diesel engines and components to the individual part level.

  • Operate high pressure hydraulic tooling systems, hand tools, air tools, and cutting tools; along with various blasting and washing equipment.

  • Execute various material handing tasks including component/part inspection, labeling, organizing and stocking.

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, housekeeping assignments and all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED or GED equivalent or minimum of 8 years of experience

  • Must pass background check and drug screen

  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (Example: safety glasses, gloves, earplugs and steel-toed boots)

  • Must be able to work in a tobacco free environment

  • Ability to work on any shift, scheduled overtime and occasional weekends as necessary

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States of America

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior manufacturing experience

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts

  • Knowledge of basic hand tools

  • Automotive or mechanical experience

  • Experience in the operation of overhead cranes and safe lifting procedures

  • Prior forklift operation experience
