Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
7+ years of public relations experience
Excellent oral, written, media relations, and digital communications skills
Ability to translate technical scientific content into engaging and memorable campaigns for external audiences
Driven to understand, simplify, and effectively communicate complex information
Demonstrated success achieving cross-functional influence and alignment on communications strategies and execution plans
Wisely prioritize and reprioritize work; Leverages strategic insight to meet evolving priorities and business needs
Ensures consistency across communications and channels; Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Supports development of platform-specific social strategies; Shapes optimal content approaches and targeting based on audience behavior and business objectives
Leads by example, mentoring team members to enhance performance and processes
Comfortable presenting to and advising company leadership and stakeholders; Prepares executive-ready communications, recommendations, and reports
Appetite for continuous learning and advancement, including surfacing and proposing new ideas to achieve goals. Ability to challenge status quo
Distills high-level directives into actionable, focused, and measurable plans
Preferred Qualifications
