l be required to team work with cross-functional departments such as Marketing, Service, Sales, etc. to boost Waters business in local territories.This role has the primary responsibility of driving market development activities in the Food and Environment Market segment to attain the ASEAN region revenue quota.
Responsibilities
Work closely with sales teams to achieve business goals and drive sustainable YoY revenue growth for Waters F&E market segment in ASEAN with sales activities such as customer co-visiting, documents generation, solution presentation, etc.
Required to work as a unified team with the respective segment BDs to drive Waters system solutions into F&E market segment with effective local seminars and marketing events.
Plan, localize and implement diversified business development programs for F&E market segment e.g. seeding and solution demonstration at customer sites
Development of local competitive knowledge and market intelligence by partnering with local teams and resources
Produce written material in clear, concise and understandable form, seeking to ensure that the intended message has been fully comprehended e.g. tender specifications
Deliver F&E and TQ related sales and product training to field sales and specialist team.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree, Master or PhD in chemistry, biology or engineering or other science related field from accredited university is essential
Experience:
3+ years of Chromatography experience is desirable
UPLC, Mass Spec, field sales and/or marketing experience is a plus
Skills:
Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS
Proven track record in having sales or supporting sales process of LC or MS-based solution.
Good command of English language and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Analytical mindset and strong drive to resolve open issues
Independent and motivated self-starter
20-30% travelling within ASEAN region is required for this role
