nstrument Account Manager has full responsibility for instrument sales activities in his/her own territory in designated vertical market (Chemical Materials / food & environmental) including strong customer relationship building by delivering customer benefit based on keen understanding on the customers' needs and challenges.
Responsibilities
Instrument Sales Account Manager will work as a fundamental role in achieving ambitious customer acquisition and business growth objectives.
Meet or exceed sales targets
New account/contact creation
Maintain installed-base customer satisfaction
Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts
Manage the whole sales process in aligned with compliance
New account/contact creation
Potential customer opportunity development and management
Instrument distributors opportunity creation and management in COMPASS
Provide information based on customer challenge and needs to marketing team to create business development programs
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors/Masters Degree in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
Experience:
Minimum Bachelor degree
Working experience (preferrable in chromatography, spectroscopy industry) around 3 years+
Previous experience a related sales position preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong listening and sales skills.
Ability to achieve targets.
Good English skill preferred
Travel:
This is a territory-based position with travelling within your designated territory, and occasional travels to other countries for activities such as governance of department, local business support, meetings and training.
