Manage tenant configuration, licensing, identity lifecycle, access controls, and service health monitoring
Implement and maintain security best practices, including Conditional Access, MFA, role‑based access control, and privileged identity management
Support automation and administration using PowerShell and Graph API
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration
Lead and support M365 integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
Plan and execute tenant‑to‑tenant migrations, including:
Exchange Online mailboxes
OneDrive and SharePoint content
Teams and collaboration workloads
Design and implement identity consolidation strategies, including directory synchronization, account matching, and domain transitions
Partner with Security and Legal teams to ensure data governance, retention, and compliance requirements are met during integrations
Support Day‑0, Day‑1, and Day‑2 M&A readiness activities, including cutovers, coexistence, and post‑integration stabilization
Develop migration runbooks, rollback plans, and post‑merger operational documentation
Collaboration & Operational Excellence
Act as a technical escalation point for complex M365 issues
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Service Desk, Security, and Application teams
Participate in change management, incident response, and problem management processes
Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior administrators and support teams
Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on Microsoft 365 administration experience in an enterprise environment
Demonstrated experience supporting M&A activities, including tenant integrations or divestitures
Strong expertise in:
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Exchange Online
SharePoint Online / OneDrive
Microsoft Teams
Proficiency with PowerShell for automation and administration
Solid understanding of identity management, security, and compliance concepts
Experience working in hybrid identity environments
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with third‑party migration tools (e.g., Quest, BitTitan, ShareGate)
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, eDiscovery, retention, and information protection
Experience working in regulated or global enterprise environments
Microsoft certifications such as:
Microsoft 365 Administrator
Identity and Access Administrator
Security Administrator
Prior experience supporting divestitures or carve‑outs
