Responsibilities
Manage and direct QA resources in Milford Assembly, Kitting, NPI, Calibration and the QA Laboratory along with the Franklin Distribution Center and Singapore product transfers.
Lead investigations of product quality issues and NCRs,
Develop and report quality system metrics, leading Corrective and Preventive Action investigations, and driving improvement activities and projects.
Define the yearly performance goals and development plans for each person within their group.
Collaborate regularly with multiple functions (R&D, Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Purchasing) and sites (sister global manufacturing sites and contract manufacturers in Singapore) to resolve quality issues.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in a physical Science or Engineering discipline is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
A minimum 5 years of directly applicable experience in Quality Assurance Operations or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of people leadership.
Experience with CAPA and internal audit systems.
Experience with regulatory standards including ISO9001 and ISO13485.
Experience working with Production Part Approval, Risk Management, Capability Analysis and New Product Development.
Superior leadership, facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to work independently across multiple organizations.
Good report writing and reviewing skills.
