The candidate will manage the entire lifecycle of their products, be responsible for gathering customer requirements, build business cases and revenue models, define their vision with development teams and oversee product go-to-market strategies, pricing, and positioning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating and sharing scientific content, ranging from brochures and infographics to webinars and tradeshow presentations. This Product Management position is a highly-visible, global role and a successful candidate will be encouraged to be out in front of the world's leading scientific discussions and help our organizations align to serving the cell and gene therapy industry.
This is a Hybrid role based out of Milford, MA 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday)
Responsibilities
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and implement ways to grow market share and improve customer experience
Work closely with development teams to create detailed marketing and product requirements
Liaise and manage important alpha and beta testing collaborations
Generate business cases that support the innovation of new products
Launch new products into the market with well-honed go-to-market strategies
Deliver and support product training sessions, webinars and tradeshow activity
Develop and write value propositions to support on-market campaigns
Be the subject matter expert about your products on enzyme-based technologies, hydrophilic interaction chromatography, lipid analyses and ion exchange column technologies
Represent the company by visiting customers and attending conferences to present technical information and solicit feedback on our products
Partner with our sales teams to find new customers and also increase business with existing accounts
Provide application and method development considerations to customers working with your products
Be accountable for your product's revenue and monitor incoming orders for sales insights that can enhance sales enablement and marketing tactics
Create marketing literature, website content, social selling messages, and customer email content
Qualifications
Minimum BS in a scientific field. Advanced degree, such as an MBA, MS, or PhD, preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a scientific field, including time spent as a product manager, strategic marketing leader, commercial role or in science-based business development work
Understanding of the analytical chromatography market and direct exposure to viral vector or nucleic acid separations and/or enzyme-based assays
Experience with developing and leading 'Go-to- Market' product strategies
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skill
