    Position summary

    ations support for pre and post sales activities for the Rheology and Thermal product lines.

    • Run customer samples, while generating reports in an effort to close sales.

    • Provide post sales training and trouble-shooting.

    • Teach training courses, both lecture based and hands-on at TA and Waters locations as well as at customer sites.

    • Provide technical expertise to customers by email, phone, and in person.

    • Provide technical expertise for Sales Representatives on site assisting in the closure of business.

    • Give technical presentations (during sales calls, seminars, and other events).

    • Teach demonstrations both in the New Castle office, field offices, and at customer sites.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelors Degree in Rheology, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
      • Masters or Ph.D. preferred.

    Experience:

    • Relevant industrial experience preferred.

    • Has a solid understanding of rheology, mechanical testing, and instrumentation.

    • The ideal candidate would also have experience with thermal techniques (DSC, TGA, TMA).

    • Prior experience with TA Instruments software and instrumentation preferred.

    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

    • Ability to travel by both air and ground carrier.
