risks in the application working with the technical team and senior management
Develop deep understanding of the product, engineering processes, tools, and concepts in order to effectively narrow down defects. Ability to not only find a defect but also to narrow it down to the root cause.
Implement QA Metrics and prioritize development and production bugs
Manage and grow the automated test suite and other developer self-service tools
Drive resolution of technology roadblocks including code, infrastructure, build, and deployment limitations through collaboration with internal teams as needed.
Coordinate with external vendors to identify and implement execution workflows
Escalation point to assist support tickets and document defects, narrowing issues down to core problems
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related experience
4+ years of experience in software development and/or quality engineering
3+ years of experience in Salesforce development or quality engineering with a cloud-based CRM solution (Salesforce preferred)
Proven knowledge of QA methodologies, test automation, trends, and best practices.
Good understanding of salesforce product development
Experience writing and executing test cases and with test automation frameworks preferably CRT (Copado Robotic Testing Tool)
Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP)
Strong written and verbal skills
Previous experience working in an agile environment preferred
