Test and debug PCBA's and electromechanical assemblies to support production requirements
Write operating procedures as required
Conduct/execute test equipment calibration and/or preventative maintenance
Work with external calibration houses to manage equipment turn around
Maintain engineering lab environment, parts procurement, etc.
Safe handling of chemicals in a lab / manufacturing environment
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Qualified individual should have a minimum of a high school vocational degree in electronics or a high school diploma and a certificate in electronics.
The individual should have a minimum of eight years of experience testing, debugging and repairing electromechanical assemblies and complex PCBA's to component level.
Individual should have good mechanical skills and be capable of working from mechanical drawings, electrical and fluidic schematics.
Individual should have strong PC experience, including PC configuration and maintenance, as well as use of standard MS Office applications.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
Desirable Skills:
CAD experience
SAP experience
Lean Six Sigma experience
Programming experience in NI Labview or Python
