Sr Technical Support Specialist

to those customers across several markets (e.g., pharmaceutical, food, translational research and materials characterization). This position will report to the Regional Business Development Manager. The ideal Candidate should live the State of North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Perform demonstrations on Waters solutions

• Deliver seminars/ workshops to help develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts

• Visit customers with Territory Account Managers and Specialists to highlight Waters solutions and help customers with their challenges

• Build technical competency on Waters solution and to be perceived by colleagues and customers as a resource

• Help district meet or exceed its sales targets

• Keep current on industry trends, new instrumentation, software, and competitive information

• Develop business through monthly plan of action

Qualifications

• 8+ years chromatography experience.

• Knowledge of Empower Chromatography Software

• Method Development experience

• Mass Spectrometry experience a plus

• Sales and/or marketing is a plus

• Approximately 20% Overnight travel
