    Position summary

    • Process Improvement: Perform well-defined experiments and contribute to ongoing efforts to improve existing manufacturing processes.
    • Production Troubleshooting: Work with Production to help troubleshoot daily challenges including issues related to chemistry, equipment, & existing infrastructure.
    • Hands-on Manufacturing: Assist in the direct manufacture of reagents, standards, and other products using established glassware techniques and procedures.
    • Quality and Continuous Improvement: Support the Quality Assurance team by helping to investigate and to resolve quality and customer issues. Participate in root-cause analysis events to prevent recurring challenges.
    • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Assist Engineering, Production, and other departments with the implementation of new equipment and the improvement of existing equipment. Collect and analyze data to drive continuous improvements. Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related discipline, and some experience working with chemicals in a laboratory environment.
    • 1 - 3 years of experience in an industrial, laboratory, and/or academic research environment.
    • Demonstrated familiarity with operating small-scale glassware reactions and basic laboratory techniques.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities with a high level of organizational skill.
    • Familiarity and adherence with chemical and laboratory safety. Company Description
