    Responsibilities

    At Workato, we take pride in continuous evolution. The driving force behind our business growth is driving internal projects which continuously improve and enhance how we operate in an effort to provide the best experience for our customers. We're searching for a highly qualified project manager to help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have strong skills and experience in planning and overseeing projects through to completion. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of innovation is being achieved.

    • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
    • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
    • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
    • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
    • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
    • Structure and manage cross-functional projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
    • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
    • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan

    Requirements

    Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

    • Two or more years of project management experience
    • Experience working in the tech industry is an asset

    Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

    • Strong attention to deadlines and the ability to drive results
    • Proven success working with all levels of management
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent presentation skills

    This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extending depending on performance and business needs. Hourly compensation begins at $55/hour.
