Manage supplier relationships for assigned new and/or active parts and accessories.
Act as the facilitator and relationship management champion balancing Yamaha's and the Supplier's needs.
Coordination and Project Management of any Inventory or Cost Reduction Initiatives.
Support the organizations' Green Procurement, CTPAT, and federally or State mandated initiatives as required.
Assist other department personnel with supplier related activities (i.e., receiving problem discrepancies, invoicing discrepancies, etc.)
Support the department's initiatives required to meet corporate compliance requirements related to JSOX, CPSC, 10+2, ECCN, NAFTA, etc.
Manage, coordinate and execute special projects and tasks as assigned.
What you need to be successful:
BS/BA in quantitative discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of four years' experience in Purchasing and Material Planning in a high-volume, transaction-oriented environment.
SAP required and intermediate Microsoft Excel capability required.
Strong communication (written and oral), planning and organization skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills.
This is an onsite position.
