    Position summary

    Instrumenting and supervising instrumentation of test articles.

    • Designing test plans to validate calibrations for release.

    • Assisting in the design and maintenance of testing facility systems

    • Creating and refine facility control algorithms via PLC programming.

    • Mentoring junior engineers and technicians to develop team's Data Acquisition (DAQ) and calibration skills.

    What you need to be successful:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

    • 3-5 years of experience calibrating Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) for mass production required.

    • Mastery of compromises between performance, reliability and emissions compliance.

    • Ability to interpret software logic from block diagrams.

    • Mastery of CAN communication tools.

    • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to a broad audience of technical and non-
      technical people.

    • Ability to instrument prototype engines for calibration work (i.e. lambda, MAP, O2, temp sensors).

    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.

    • Calibration experience using MicroAutoBox.

    • PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley or Siemens preferred).
